UPDATE #1 - Aug 14, 2006
Well, the website has been open for two days now, and there are already six members! That is a very good sign about progress in the time to come. I am sure that we can reach 10 members by the end of Friday. Today, I opened up a category for the Manga. I am not as familiar with the Manga as with the Anime, so at the moment it is relatively small. If anyone knows a lot about the Manga and has ideas on how to expand that category, please just let me know. I also added a board for Shipping, under the Anime section. As you may or may not know, shipping is the belief in underlying romances between characters. For example, PokéShipping is the belief in a love between Misty and Ash. Due to the possible sensitive nature of Shipping, I have made it hidden to all non-registered/logged-in visitors, just like the General Discussion board. I'd like to thank you all for joining so far - the forum can not grow on its own, and it will need a collective effort from all of us to expand it. You can help me with this by talking to your friends who like Pokemon (or just anime in general), leaving messages on other boards, etc. It will take time, but I have seen it pay off before - only good can come from it. Yuko, jephaisgod, and bryantjj have all put up Pokémon episodes/movies on a well-known Internet service called You Tube - I recommend you check them all out, it is awesome seeing all the episodes again. Finally, I created one last board, under Pokémon. It is for all of the new Pokémon in the Shinou region - granted only four or five Pokémon have been revealed from this area, but those numbers will quickly expand! Remember, the board needs more members to expand - more members means more discussions, more posts, and more fun in the conversations.
