Poke World Newsletter #1
Well, here it is, the very first newsletter of Poké World. In just ten days, we have seen 8 people join, and over 100 posts made - that is a staggering amount. I want to thank all of you, jephaisgod, bryantjj, Yuko, Rennie, Crableg.. err I mean Craleb... boB, and Lanz for joining. You've all helped out by giving suggestions on how to improve the board, by making posts, and by telling your friends about us. I've seen links to this site on people profiles on other websites, their signatures, and descriptions about various things. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So far, the site has grown enormously from being just about the anime, to the manga and the games as well. The only change I can think of will be adding boards under Anime Characters for any new people (such as Hikari), but that won't happen for a while yet. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Did you know that this forum has an article on the English Wikipedia? Just go to http://www.en.wikipedia.org and type in Poke World. We did have an article on Bulbapedia, but the administrators there pulled the article because the forum isn't populous enough yet. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the Site FAQs and Help board - it has the usual FAQs, but also directions on how to link, and the new rankings. Speaking of Rankings, here they are. The number represents how many posts you need to make in order to reach that ranking. ^_^ Oh, very cool newsletter. I'm working on the oekaki, by the way. I'm not exactly sure whether I should be posting that on this thread or not, but I will anyways. >_> The website is giving me some trouble, but hopefully I'll have it running within the next few days. We'll see. Unfortunately there will be ads, you can close them, but that's the way it has to be for now (unless someone wants to pay for a server x3).

I may be able to pay depending on how much it is. xD Not sure if my mom would let me, but she may.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about it, Yuko. =) But thank you for the offer. It's not exactly cheap, and unless we get over a hundred members, the ads shouldn't bother too many people. They can be closed, so they aren't taking up any extra room.

adds? i haven't had a single pop-up add since the beginning. Must be because of the built in popup blocker from mozilla firefox. Fire fox is da best.

Well, its coming a LONG time after the first one (much longer than I originally planned), but the second newsletter should be sent out over the next few days.

it says different but we're all the same rank as it used to be.
