FAQs
Q1: How do I register to the site? A: Underneath the slogan "Entei if you will! Enjoy the world of Pokémon!" are two lines of blue text - these are website options. If you are not registered, look at the first line. On the far right is a button that says "Register". Click that, and follow the instructions from there. Q2: Can I see every board and read every topic without registering? A: You can see most boards. The only boards that currently can not be seen by unregistered users are "Non-Pokémon" and "Other Pokémon". Once enough people join, another board will be created solely for the Moderators and Administrators use. In the case of the Pokémon Games board, every visitor will be able to see that the board exists, but if they are not logged in, or are not a member, they will not be able to view any topics. Q3: What about posting topics or replies? A: To create a topic or reply to an existing topic, you must be registered. Q4: Can I be a Moderator/Administrator? A: After twenty people join the forum, two users shall be given Moderator status. This number may be expanded as the site grows. A second Administrator will be created after forty people join the site. To be a Moderator/Administrator, you must fall under certain criteria - you will have to be a top contributor to the site, and be a responsible member. Q5: Avatars: What are they, how do I get one? Are there any restrictions on them? A: An avatar is a display picture. It is a picture that can be seen in your profile, and under your name when you post a message. You can get one by uploading one from your machine, or by linking to one that is off-site. The largest dimensions permitted for an avatar at the moment are 230 x 230, and the largest size is 6 KB. The size is unchangeable, however the dimension restrictions may be increased upon request. Q6: How many seconds do I have to wait between posts? A: You need to wait only five seconds. Q7: What are the rankings? A: See forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=30>here Q8: How do I link so that you don't see the website address? A: I suggest that you look in here: forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=29>How To Link Q9: What is Japotime? Dubtime? A: These are two terms that I just invented :D . Japotime is the point in time of the Japanese version of the anime. Dubtime is the point in time of the English dubbed version. There is about a years differenc ebetween the two versions, and these seems to be an easier thing to say than "in the Japanese version" or "in the English version". Q10: Is there any other link for this website? A: Yes, the link is http://pokeboards.cjb.net/ - it is a backup link. I recommend that you do NOT use this link unless you absolutely have to. CJB.net are notorious for slow loading times, and pop-ups. Please only use that link if the main one - forumer.com/index" target="_blank">http://pokeboards.16.forumer.com/index - doesn't load, or if you have trouble accessing parts of the site in general. Also, please be aware that on occasion, the forum will be down for reworking. Rare as this is, it does happen. I suggest that you wait for 10-20 minutes before trying to use the backup link. Q11: At the bottom of the screen, where it says "Who's Online", some names are different colours. What do the colours mean? A: Blue means that person is a regular member. Green is a Moderator, and Orange is an Administrator Q12: I have a question that isn't covered here - how can I get it answered? A: Post your question in the forumer.com/viewforum.php?f=30>"Ask Us" board. Alternatively, you can send them a PM (Private Message). They will be happy to help you out and redirect your question into the FAQs for future reference.
